Öffentliche Beta von Office 2010 verfügbar

Mit dem heutigen Tag, pünktlich um 19:00 unserer Zeit gibt’s die öffentliche Beta von Microsoft Office 2010 zum öffentlichen Download – und mehr!

• Office 2010, SharePoint Server 2010, Visio 2010, Project 2010, und Office Web Apps (das sind die Webapplikationen, wenn man sie selbst hosten will).

• Office Mobile 2010 Beta -  verfügbar am Windows Mobile Marketplace für Windows Mobile 6.5

Außerdem gibt’s ab heute für Outlook 2010 etwas in Richtung Social Networks bzw. die Integration selbiger in Outlook:

• Den Outlook Social Connector, eine neue Funktion die Outlook mit Social Networks verbindet, inklusive Kommunikations-Historie, Feeds aus den Netzwerken usw,…
• Microsoft hat das Outlook Social Connector SDK für Entwickler veröffentlicht, die dann Connectoren für Social Networks bauen können. ´
• LinkedIn ist der erste Partner, der einen Provider anbieten wird. Hmm, ist derzeit noch nicht online, außerdem ist LinkedIn bei uns ja nicht so überpopulär. XING und Facebook wäre praktisch.

Und für Business Kunden sicherlich auch interessant: die Partnerschaft zwischen SAP und Microsoft geht weiter: ”Duet Enterprise for Microsoft SharePoint and SAP”, die gemeinsame Lösung von SAP und Microsoft zur Interoperabilität zwischen SAP Applicationen und SharePoint 2010. Diese Lösung ist für das zweite Halbjahr 2010 anvisiert.
